As part of my personal spiritual axiom, I try my best to practice gratitude. No matter what challenges I face in life, there are countless things I can find to be grateful for. It’s a core belief of mine and it’s served me very well through good and bad times alike.
As I pondered what to write about this month, I was filled with that GRATITUDE for the personal relationships I’ve formed since starting this business. I feel like the luckiest guy in the world to an extent. I get to do a job I love, work with incredible people and make a living at the same time.
Thomas Foy Homes is just over 2 years old. We have transformed from good intentions and high hopes into a full-fledged Real Estate commodity in King County. Realistically, I couldn’t have predicted the amazing success we’ve had would come about so quickly. I’m in absolute awe of the growth we’ve experienced. My life is deeply enriched by the extraordinary relationships that have been formed with my clients. The trust that has been put in me with such complicated and important transactions is so humbling.
When I ask myself how all of this has happened, I struggle to find the exact reasons. I know I’ve had a lot of help. My family and friends, my mentors, my Managing Broker, my preferred vendors; to name a few. This business is too complex and challenging to be done without lots of support at every stage of the process.
What I also know is that my motives have always been pure. My fundamental belief is that when you treat people well and give freely of yourself, the universe returns those things in kind. I don’t know how or why that works exactly. My experience has just proven it time and again. I know I’ve done my absolute best to provide clients with the best representation and service I can. In return, the universe has allowed me to succeed in a business that I truly love and am extremely proud of today.
Don’t be fooled, this is not some “lifetime achievement award” blog. Not even close, we are just getting started. We’ve built something that has real staying power: We provide first-class Real Estate experiences for our clients. We will continue to expand and remain committed to improvement every day.
I just feel the need to take a moment and humbly say:
THANK YOU!
Tom
