“I have never been motivated to write a review like this, but after our experience with Tom I really wanted to share. “We had very special need in a very seller-friendly market. My wife wanted something beautiful in a good neighborhood, I wanted a great value. Not an easy client! Tom took the time to listen to each of us, never getting impatient with the near impossible task we were presenting him with. He found several listings that might be a fit and went and saw each one, giving us detailed reports and only asking us to look at the ones that were likely to fit our needs. He was patient while I under bid a handful of properties, and kept scouting the sellers for insight into how to win one. When I finally found the courage to make an appropriate offer, Tom made a very unusual offer that the seller’s agent used to get the house for us on it’s first day on the market and before they were to look at other offers. When the seller said ‘yes’ Tom was playing in a charity golf event on a Saturday on Whidbey Island (the most beautiful place that is nowhere near the fax machine he needed to close the deal!)

We spent one morning together and looked at a handful of places within the Kirkland/Seattle/Redmond area. I fell in love with one of the places and put an offer in that following Wednesday. “This was my first home purchase, and the search was a bit scope-limited, but Tom was extremely helpful. He is an extremely customer service oriented guy. I was in a bit of a time crunch as my lease was expiring in a couple of months, and Tom was great about being available whenever I was. I could text him Tuesday night, and he would be available to go look at 5 homes the next day, one time I texted him there was a home I liked that went up that morning, he met me at it two hours later. That’s customer service!
“He not only helped me through the real-estate part, but also through finding a mortgage. He was in the mortgage industry for a long time, so he knew the ins and outs. He recommended me to a broker, I was of course immediately suspicious of him just doing the broker a favor, trading clients. But she really was the best. Beat everyone else by a half percent. He’s an honest guy, who will give you his honest opinion, even if it’s not in his best interest. Exactly what you want when picking a realtor.
